They are required to give you an answer within 6 months of your application.

Why do you require an earlier answer? For travelling? To get a job?

By the law they have to give you answer within 6 months.
I cant see how you can make them answer before that.

The ceremony was rubbish but the reception was brilliant.

Do you need a Residence Card for the mortgage?

If you and your EU spouse are already working, then I suspect you are almost there. Also, you can apply for a work permit while waiting for the Residence Card application to be processed. You can also ask them to do it on an accelerated process.

Actually, bank requested stamp 4 from us... or residency card, but I have heard that I can e-mail to some kind of organization like entemp to process it quicker. Me & my husband both are working full-time already 2 years. Probably it is a good idea to try to get a work permit...thanx
