Advise needed for Applying British Citizenship CheckingServi

Post by gkuk » Mon May 22, 2017 10:45 am

Hi,

I need Advise on applying for British citizenship for my wife.

ILR obtained: 07-07-2014.

I am planning to apply for her citizenship in the next week.
But she has travel plans to India in July/August.

My queries are:

1. The application will be made via the Nationality checking service. Then I can send the attested copies to UKBA.
But do I still need to send the Passport and BRP (ILR) card ?

Thanks

1. NCS will take copies of everything, certify the copies, send them to UKVI, and return originals to you so free to travel, subject to the biometrics request which will come within two to three week of application.
2. NO - see above.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.
Please do not send me private messages asking for advice.
