Re the online status check - this only came on stream a couple of weeks ago and in talking to HO European Citizens phone line any EEA PR applications received I believe in May (from a certain date) were scanned in on receipt, with older ones scanned in in batches. Seems to vary as to which identifier they are using. For us it only works with the Royal Mail tracking number and suddenly worked about 2 weeks ago.

Now, our application is for one Italian national (worker) and I wondered if people are on similar timings as we seem to be stuck waiting on a decision as the system shows awaiting decision as of 30 May 2017. I know we have to wait, but this is frustrating and taking quite some time compared to others cases including friends.

EEA PR (Online with passport check): Form and payment online 26 March 2017
Email confirming Case ID: 27 March 2017
Town hall appointment/sent off: 29 March 2017
Receipt according to Royal Mail: 31 March 2017
Current Status: Awaiting Decision since 30 May 2017

Anyone else (EEA national) apply around the same time and waiting?

Thanks!
So an update:

EEA PR (Online with passport check): Form and payment online 26 March 2017
Email confirming Case ID: 27 March 2017
Town hall appointment/sent off: 29 March 2017
Receipt according to Royal Mail: 31 March 2017
Current Status: Decided 20 June 2017 (updated 23 June 2017)

A quick question - we included a paid for (with excess postage) special delivery envelope inside. This has not picked up on Royal Mail yet. How many days after decision are people in the same circumstances receiving the documents back and PR card (fingers crossed of course)? I ask as with typical timing we are out of the country from tomorrow for 7 days.

Thanks in advance!

Applied online as a double EEA citizen: 16.05.2017
Case ID received: 16.05.2017
Sent papers via Royal Mail (actually Parcelforce): almost 300 papers (all bank statements for my accounts) etc.
Payment taken 3 days after: 19.05.2017

Still no response. Online status checker returns unrecognised number for any of the options (case id/Unique Application Number/Payment notification number/Royal Mail number).

Guess my question is what's next? Biometrics letter? Will they send back all papers if accepted/rejected?
300 papers? too many, just your last 5years p60 and 5years of council tax or 5years bank statements should be enough, although it goes on case by case.

The question should've been did you submitted those documents the email was asking you to submit, I so much doubt if UKVI accepts a scanned documents. Verify by calling UKVI to ensure the authentication of the email.

Hi zubby,

Thank you for your fast response and Sorry for not stating all the details. i didnt add these specific documents that they are requesting in the email and thats the only employment ref i did not include in my application.

Also the email i recieved got me confused because it stated my full names and my correct date of birth.

Finally please do you have a number i can call to confirm the authenticity of the email?

EU citizen, 11 years in UK

Online application submitted - 10/04/2017
Payment confirmation email - 11/04/2017
Documents requested back - 01/06/2017
Documents not received form- 19/06/2017
Passport and residency certificate received - 22/06/2017
PR decision- still waiting

It seems that most of you have received a Case ID, I never received mine? I tried to use their status checker by using my payment reference and Royal Mail tracking number, but nothing comes up. Is there anything else I can use to check the status of my application or is there any way I could request my Case ID? I tried to call HO, however I was told that they are just a general inquiry helpline and can't help with specific individual queries.

Hi everyone

I'm quite stressed about all this. I'm a South African with a Belgian spouse and moved to the UK end of March 2017. I've been offered a position at a great company but until I've received my CoA they can't offer me a formal position.

I'm reading people with applications sent after mine and they already received their CoAs and I'm still waiting on my Biometrics letter. Here's my timeline:

Application sent: 4 April 2017
Application received 5 April 2017
Fee deducted from account: 7 April 2017
Case number confirmed: 4 May 2017
Request from Biometrics: Not received

I phoned the home office on 14 June 2017 to follow up and they said I should mail the Biometrics department which I did on 15 June 2017 (automatic reply received). Followed up again 20 June 2017 saying an email can take up to 20 days! I've been waiting 12 weeks for my Biometrics request. I'm sure that's over their timeframe?

I'm afraid that my future employer with revoke their offer soon if I can't prove my eligibility for work.

Today I've contacted the local MP with the hopes of them applying some pressure or anything. What else can be done? Any help will be appreciated!

Thanks
Pierre

Hi all I need some help

When applying for PR after ROR, do you have to submit your ROR RC as well?
Just asking because I will need my RC for a new employer in a couple of months but I need to secure PR ASAP as my 5 years is up. What should I do?? Thanks

Hi guys,
I've just applied for my EEA PR about 3 weeks ago as a Non-EEA national married to an EEA national (Irish) exercising her treaty's right. Four days later, they sent back our passports excluding the supporting documents, stating they only need the photocopies. No biometric letter yet. Has anyone experience this situation before? and is it a good thing or bad? Cos I'm very nervous as they sent the passports back very quickly. Even my solicitor said he has never experience it before but he seems to think it's a good thing. What do you guys think? Thanks.
This is my timeline:
Application sent 01/06/17
HO received - 02/06/17
Passports sent back - 06/06/17
Biometric letter - waiting
COA - waiting
PR - waiting
