Is there anybody who applied from Bangalore VFS?

I applied on 14th but still no response. Can anyone throw some light on what I need to do.

Do I need to call the chennai BHDC or is there any Bangalore VFS number available?

CAll the BDHC chennai, ((91-44) 42192151) you will get apt information. VFS folks do not have a clue of what is happening.

You can call them, but all individual numbers of BDHCs are going to be withdrawn and there is going to be one common number from Mar 10 - 080 - 40084008.

The BDHC numbers are not going to be withdrawn. The individual VFS numbers are going to be withdrawn and will have one centralised VFS number.

EC Check

Post by siva81 » Thu Mar 06, 2008 5:30 am

Hai,

Thanks to the group.

I got the message from BDHC that "You may wish to note that you have been granted the necessary entry clearance. The passport will be despatched later today or tomorrow. Please contact VFS Global our commercial partner for details on retrieval of passport. " . on 4 march 2008

I came to know that my EC has granted. today I have checked with VFS site and tracked the status . but its still shows "Your visa application has been forwarded to the British High Commission 07 Feb 2008" .

Usually how many days it took to receive the passport. Guys, who got the confirmation through mail , got your passports and documents .

Please let me know in this.

EC applied : 07 Feb 2008
Integra : donno
Result : Got mail on 04 March 2008 and waiting for passport.

Thanks,
Siva81

I received the status mail on 03 Mar 2008.
My status in VFS website was updated only today and I am yet to receive my passport.
It usually takes a day or two for the status to get updated.
In some cases, the status changed only after the applicant received his/her ppt.
