Post by cooldude143 » Tue Mar 04, 2008 6:26 pm

Guys,
Can you please let me know the fees for Tier-1?
I am confused here, whether in tier-1 after get the initial application do we need to apply for EC? Do we need to show Maintanence evidence again?

Cheers

Hi Dude,

I checked the BIA website today. They have mentioned :

* £350 if you submit a valid HSMP approval letter with your application (this is because you have already paid for the approval letter); and
* £750 for all other applicants.

Even I have the same query whether we have to apply for EC after this or this includes EC.

Any pointers are highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Vijay

No it isn't. The passport is needed because they'll put a visa in it if approved.

When the scheme is rolled out around the world it will be a single application (i.e. entry clearance combined with the points criteria).

You mean 750 pounds for Approval and EC for self and all dependents.

Sounds better to me. :)

In the new Tier-1 no need to send the passport in some scnerios. How the passport will be stamped in that case.

Can any body tell me that while applying for entry clearance whether our Points are again calculated on basis of documents provided or Entry cleanliness office have no concern about the points of HSMP.

The other things which confused me that whether I should submit all the documents with EC application form which I was submitted while applying for HSMP. Whether EC Office TALLY OUR DOCUMENETS.

Please reply

Yes you need to submit all the documents that you submitted for HSMP intial application.
But i am still confused whether the EC and HSMP intial application is combined in Tier1?
