Entrepreneur visa extension-your application raises exceptio

Hello All,

I am writing to seek opinions on my current visa status:

I applied for Tier 1 (entrepreneur) extension on 27 march 2017

Will application received a mandate saying decision will be made on your application within 8-12 working days.

Biometric consideration email received from ukvi - 29 April 17

Received email from ukvi - 2 may 2017 - Although we would normally decide your application within eight weeks from the date it was submitted, unfortunately this is not going to be possible in your case and that my application raises exceptionally complex issues and therefore we require further time to assess you application.

Emailed them again - 7 June 2017 mentioning my emergency to receive decision as my business requires travelling.

They replied they would prioritise my application and decision in couple of weeks.

I am not sure what more can I do except emailing and waiting.
I am thinking to approach my local MP.

Any advice and suggestions are most welcome

Yes, if you want to expedite your case, you need to involve the local MP with the valid reasons. Hope that will help you to get it rolling relatively quicker.

You only applied on 27th march and cant wait.
i applied 1st week of october interview done in march and still waiting.
two times mp involved and all i was hearing they require more time.
its ten months to date now.

Just letting you know, hat you are still within the "normal range" for waiting for a reply from the Home office. Some people on here have been waiting for a year or longer.

Others have contacted their MP and they say it made a difference, but I for one think that the home office march to the beat of their own drum.

I completely agree other people on this forum some application took just 1 Month and some took over year time.
asper my knowledge visa process time now days are between 4-6 Months.

What did they ask in interview from you? and is it 50K extension visa?

Same questions as mentioned by all others search the forum. yes 50k.

If you are with in 6 months time of your application, nothing much can be done other than checking your post box every afternoon. If you don't get any decision even after 6 months of your application, meet your MP and explain the problem you are facing because of delay. So that they can write to UKVI for you.
