Then what was the point of your post/request in the link below if you were going to ask the above??? You could have just left the other one as 'not activated' instead of creating duplicate activities!!

Well you might have mentioned that when I stated that's what I was intending to do! It's a hard life, eh?

In that case, I will leave someone else to do as you request when they have the time. It's a hard life, eh??

Is there anyway to change the username or delete a post by the user?

How can I change the way my name appears at the posts. Currently, it appears the same as my user name.

What do you mean? Your name will appear exactly the same as your username, which has been changed now.

Accounts are not 'deleted', they are simply 'deactivated'.

Not sure why you couldn't just ask this in the first place instead of wasting our time to change your username.

Please deactivate my account.

Also, since my post was decided to be unnecessary & locked before anybody responded, can you please delete it too? I didn't realise this forum was different and you couldn't delete or edit your posts after 15 minutes- I wanted to delete my timeline from this post on a second thought but wasn't able to. I would appreciate your help in getting it deleted.

Posts are not deleted. Topics such as you intended to start very quickly become non value and a basis for information that no one knows and general chit chat straying off topic. Perhaps reading the forum T&Cs when you joined would have explained how the forum works

Your account will be deactivated.

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.

Please note:

Posts are not and will not be deleted just because they become outdated or you wish them to be deleted.
It is you who choose to and are posting in a "public" forum, so please post information appropriately ensuring privacy is not breached.

That said, if you wish to have your account deactivated (which doesn't mean that your posts will get deleted too), please leave a request in this topic.
The needful (deactivation of account, not deletion of posts) will be done - at the moderators' convenience!
Hi please please remove 1 of my post in T1 entrepreneur visa secton Which is contained my privacy and deactivate my account. Thanks
