Hello
Yes I think you should call to HO to find out its already more than 6 month . Are you able to track your application...?
Yeh I track my application is still awaiting a decision. I call today HO and they said I can call after 6 month not now is 2 week left to 6 month

Ohh yes bro you still got 2week left and I have got 4 more week I understand your feelings waiting is a painful process but as long the decision come positive you forget the pain.
You are lucky that you can track your application but I am unable to track I have tried all possible numbers but it's not regonised. So finger crossed and let's see what is going to happen.

You know how I can track my application my reference number is like K1234567 and I try is not work when I put only 1234567 is work. I think you try same like me delete 1st word

So.. what should I do? I mean I have the cCOA that allows me to work. Right?

Hello,
I had a question, my wife`s 5 year residence card will expire in May 2018, but she came to the UK in September 2012. Can she apply for the PR in September (when 5 years are completed) or wait until May 2018 to apply?
Thanks

Curious to know why 8 months is going to make a big difference. ~Even if she gets PR from Sept 2017, she will have to wait one year to apply for citizenship. By then certainly PR will not long apply and settled status will be applicable and you will have to go through the process again. It will cause only stress. If she has been working from September 2012 she would be eligible but if she was looking for work initially, the clock would start from the time she exercised treaty rights which means either she was working or looking for work and was on CSI.

First this forum is for PR timeline not NI. You have been residing here more than 5 years and you dont know what NI is? You have been living in the country without a NINO for 5 years?

Actually 8 months makes a big difference in case she is eligible for PR in September 2017.As far as I'm concerned, the registration for settled status will be voluntary till the actual Brexit - till end of the March 2019. Till then is business as usual. If she gets PR in September this year, she will be eligible to apply for BC in September 2018. If she becomes BC , she won't have to apply for settled status. Having in mind the unknown fee for settled status and the requirements, this might be straightforward way to secure her status.

You can use photocopy of your passport data page and COA letter with work permit to obtain NI number. My friend used it and am 99.9% sure.

In that case, why delay your application? Apply in September and see what happens. If refused you can reapply in May 2018 which will be around 2-3 months after getting your refusal letter. Only £65 would be lost.
Just a point Im making is nobody knows how settled status will work. Because as soon as they introduce settled status, they will discontinue PR. and when P~R is discontinued for British C u will need to reapply for settled status. One news report I read said its expected to be introduced in Summer of 2018.

At last have received my PR after RoR !!! :D
My timeline
Application sent on13th February 2017
Money taken on 24 February 2017
Biometric done on 20 March 2017
COA received on 26 March 2017
Checked online and it says DECIDED on 06 August 2017
Documents with passport received on 21 August with letter confirming Pr dated 18th August.
PR card received on 23 August.

Documents provided: Copy of EEA french passport, decree absolute, P60, payslips and employment history of EEA during marriage until decree absolute, photos of EEA with myself while together, proof of cohabitation while together, my passport, my own payslips from date of decree absolute till date application sent, bank statement where wages paid, bills and tenancy agreement for myself, cover note briefly explaining that i hold Ror and now applying for PR.

I have read several thread where on the letter Home Office gives date PR was actually acquired, i can't see anything like that in the letter i received.

Good luck to anyone waiting for their decisions
GOD BLESS!!!

She can apply for PR from 5 years from your marriage. Not from the date/RC issued or when she arrived in the UK (provided all criterias are met).
