Anyone from pakistan or country with similar vac services can advise on collection information. Would vac email you or send text and would they give a specific time for collection or you can collect any time between 8am to 5pm.

Urgent advise needed. Thanks in advance.
In most cases, you will receive a phone call from VAC to collect your passport. If you have paid for SMS services then an SMS alert will be sent out at your designated mobile number.

The timing of passport collection is between 2:00 pm to 5:00 p:m.

Hi Mugatiya,Mahoballa

I just spoke to my uni and told them that i have applied on 14th july and they told me that the status is still assigned however they will get in touch with the accounts manager he in turn will contact ukvi. They have asked me to hang on for 2 days and they will get back to me ....keeping my fingers crossed.
Hi, thanks for the update. My uni told me that they've already flagged it with their accounts manager and they'll notify me if there is an update. Unfortunately, nothing yet.
I think me and mugatiya are left only for the decision., Mine application on 17 July nd still waiting for decision.

did u try calling the international enquiry line? i called for mine and they instantly told me decision was made. most people say its useless to call them but it worked for me, so worth a try
4 times actually. As of last friday, mine was awaiting a decision and was marked as high priority.

My uni said they cant check the CAS status. Not sure if they dont know how to check or this permission is given only to some uni. Any suggestion on what can be done?

My univesity contacted ukvi and this is what they replied
I have passed the details to an Entry Clearance Officer (ECO) today. I have made the ECO aware of the relevant course start date and asked them to make a decision as a priority. If further information is required from the student, the ECO will contact directly...
I hope we all get positive response soon..

So, i've contacted the british embassy in my country. He asked my GWF number and name. A day later he sent me this

"Hi Nadia, our colleagues already checked on your GWF number and found your visa got deferred complex case with a match to previous adverse immigration history. However, it's in queue and has been raised as high noise. We are looking into this with our colleagues in UKVI.

Kind regards,
British Embassy Jakarta"

What does 'raised as high noise' mean? Do you guys think that the british embassy has an impact on speeding up visa applications? I've been so desperate.. this is my 6th week..

Hey guys,

It's been already 16 working days and no word from UKVI, even though I paid for priority and called them several times to escalate my case. No sorry for delay e-mail or not straightforward e-mail, just nothing.

Course starts on 18/09 and I am starting to get really angry and frustrated. I know this is peak season but they are being too incompetent handling it...

Bro, my cas was used on 4th September. The date of issue on my visa is also exactly on 4th September on my vignette. I don't know if I'm correct but it seems like once your cas is used, your visa will be decided on the same day. I might be wrong tho but based on this I think you should keep checking your cas!

If it makes you feel any better, my uni told me my cas was not used, but I was called to collect my passport the next day! I'm not sure how this was possible.

Try to get your university student visa team to call the ukvi officers instead of getting them to track for your cas status from their computer.

I hope you receive some good news very soon!

So it seems we're the last ones from SL. My other friends got their visas today as well. That's something at least

Anyone had a luck with the tracker using the GWF no/VAF no or the IHS number. Applied as a Tier 4 dependent ..counting on 32 working days. UKVI international enquiry said application is currently being considered and awaiting a decision..Don't know when the waiting will be over

You are quite right. The charm of studying overseas is somehow lost but still we should not lose heart. I am sure that week will bring good news for your in-particular..!!!
