Here's someone with same situation from Nigeria.

Applied online on 26 July
Biometric on 28 July
Received at UK decision centre in 9 August
Mail stating processing not straightforward on 16 August.
No further communication since then.

Anyone else experiencing delays in Switzerland?

Applied on the 31st and got the second email like the day after- but its been two weeks and nothing!
I paid for priority and did everything I could, was reassured it would be done in 5 days... classes start this Monday. Really nervous.
applied from geneva priority. 16/9 appointment, received passport last wednesday
Sorry, what do you mean by '16/9'. Like that's day after tomorrow hahah
Did you mean you applied on 16/8?

Hello guys

Well I just made a phone call to UKVI international enquiry and been told that the decision has been made on my application on 12th of September.

My timeline

1st Aug/ biometric & interview
8 Aug/ acknowledgement email
18th Aug/ delay in application
6th September / escalate my application

Now finally decision has been taken on 12th of September with non priority service. My course start date is 25th of September.

I advise everyone to call UKVI rather than an email which take long time to escalate your application and notify your latest arrival date on CAS.

I applied from lahore pakistan. So anyone here who applied from pakistan can assist me how many days it takes who already got their passports back.

Wish a luck to everyone who are still waiting for their Visa.
I hope I'll get my passport soon.

Good luck to everyone waiting. Hope you get your passports back soon!

Will they refuse visa this late in time. Or is it done early on. I am so stressed out as there isn't even time to reapply it it's refused.

I've contacted the university and they checked the status of the CAS and said it is shown as used so the processing is probably in the latter stage of it

There is no need to extend it. It's the case for everyone. The actual period will be mentioned in your BRP, which you have to obtain from the post office you selected during application (also mentioned in the document that came with the passport) within 10 days of arrival

Apparently they worked last weekend. Quite a few of my friends were told that decisions were taken either last saturday or sunday.
