Employment history

Post by googleit » Wed Sep 20, 2017 8:54 pm

Hi

I applied through NCS recently, filled in employment history for past 10 years but there was a period of 6 months back in 2008 which I wasn't sure, and I didn't mention that as I couldn't remember.

But now I found some payslips for that 6 months, do I have to inform home office or shall I just wait , although it was a part time employment.

You will be safer sending the additional information to HO providing this employment information including your application reference number.

Thanks , it's just bit confusing as you can't really remember exact 10 years employment history and HMRC record isn't that updated!

You can request Employment history from HRMC, although this is best to do before filling AN and send along with all documents

Hope it helps future applicants

Thanks , yes it's helpful. I filled in all employment correctly apart from one 6/7 months part time work that was done back In 2007/2008.

One of my friend got his naturalisation approved today, he also sent his employment history as much as he remembered. I'm sure home office has access to hmrc data to check or cross check .

I don't think you really have to remember every employment in the last 10 years. I just put down my current and last job in the employment history and got approval this week.
