After over 2 years waiting our case has been refused unfortunately (kinda expecting that but why take so long???)
We've put in an appeal, hopefully there'll be a hearing soon. Any idea how long it'll take?

Sorry to hear that koolkate, must be disappointing to be refused specially after they took that long in deciding!!!

Can you Share the reason why they refused you?

It was basically a copy paste answer, they said that we won't have any problem settling if we go back to our country and we don't come in 10 years route(9 years 4months) etc

I applied 17 th January . Flr fp 2 British child Biometric done 10th March online application last update 7th July. No additional information requested Waiting is pain is nearly 9month. Is January application get any results yet?

I'm so gutted for you. So very sorry. I did go through this thread to see what your history was, what is your history? Are you both non-eea/british?

online checking showed awaiting decision 24th april, 25th may, 21st June then 7th September
now the online checking showing Decided 5th Oct, now just waiting for the post.

Quick Update abt my application, received an email response to a complaint I made.

Thy confirmed a decision was made yesterday and has been posted with tracking number to my solicitor.

I’m very nervous now more than ever!! Will keep you updated what the outcome is

Thanks but it’s very worrying!!! As the tracking number they gave doesn’t seem to work! Spoke to Royal Mail as well they too cannot track it.

I applied in May 2016, 10 days out of time and had to leave my professional job.

I complained via email, I have been complaining since January every month....

I applied in May 2016 10 days out of time, it’s been very hard for me as couldn’t work and provide for my family!
