Hi guys

Ho playing trick with us. They think we r fool. Who spent lot of money. I noticed first they sent 31oct email and also said its our aim to complete cases. Otherwise we will write u. After that now they sending meaningless emails like not straightforward
Hold lifted on some cases other r still hold blah blah

They just making lame excuses to take more time. It's half month past no body got visa which was on hold like Nov, Jan, Feb anyone got visa-no.
So do u think they will give before 31.

I think no. They just giving visa only recent applicants July Aug not others. I think we all need to do sponsors should go in front of Sheffield office and sit their until they don't giving exact tym of application decision.
I think this is last thing which left now. Beacause Ho has no effect BBC news or other complaints or parliament discussion.

Give u r views I'm I right or wrong
Thnks
I will be going to their offices and staging a protest. HO, media, ombudsman, parliament can't help. Its time we went to the offices. I won't move until i get a decision on visa.
hi,
i applied on 22 Nov 2016 within uk , and my status has changed now to Decided. i will receive my decision in 10 working days. i believe every one will receive their decision soon. Good Luck every one

FLR (M) or FLR (FP) applications from within UK is very different from spouse visa from outside UK. This thread is about spouse visa from outside UK.

They just playing with our lives.
This oct 31st mail is not true. Two weeks left more. Do you people think something good come around by the time?

Hi Syd
They specifically told us on the email not to contact them, do you think it would be a negative to think to contact them?
Hi m2sam
That's true.. I never wanted to contact them . I know it's waste of money.
But one of our forum member being told that the decision has been made when he contacted the call center.
So that's why I also gave a try .. but it totally useless for me 🙁

Hi just called ukvi call centre they said my application has been decided since 29th september 2017 why hasnt my husband received a text to pick passport up yet been 10 working days today
Congrats on a decison being made!

I also called UKVI on Monday 9th Oct and they told me a decision had been made on Friday 6th Oct, however, I'm now also in the same situation as you which is waiting for them to email/text me telling me to pickup.

Question: Do our physical passports get sent to Sheffield and then sent back with the visa stamp or does it never leave the country from where you applied?

I'm just wondering why it's taking so long.

whats peculiar is that they both contact HO and the decision was already made. As per my observation it could be that they might of made our decisions but its just those execution of decsion made emails and dispatching passports,,,mind that is a process in itself.

Update :(

I applied on April and recieved hold and not straightforward email in July. I also received the 31/10/2017 email at 6.44pm.

My application was refused because they didn't look at my application properly. They mentioned that I didn't not send the TB screening which we don't need to. Second reason, they mentioned that I am not exempt from meeting the financial requirements.

I just can't believe they held my application for 6 months without looking at my application properly. But alhamdillah for everything.

I will appeal against this decision :(
Good luck everyone.

Hi
I heard that everyone who applying for long term settlement visa to uk should definitely submit the tb certificate to them.
Make sure you submit tb certificate to your appeal.

You have no actual posting history on the forum other than this topic. You have not stated anywhere how you met the financial requirement or from which country the application was made.

Impossible for members to 'guess' your circumstances.

Also, as it is a refusal, you really should start your own topic rather than continue in this one as it is not relevant to refusals.
