Dan is right Agnieszka and I think sponsor cannot change his/her job because in some cases (like when i applied for eea residence doc.) they call employers to confirm our employment, don't know if they do the same when our family member apply for visa.

I doubt they call your employer. This is government, they have access to all your data and if you're honest citizen and paying taxes they will know it for sure. They know where you work and how much you earn, they do not need to check it. We live in very dynamic world, people change jobs all the time. When I applied for my residence card I just changed job and did not have single payslip from my employer to prove it and got RC in no time.
Guys to be honest I'm just waiting for my husband FP to arrive and we both live as we did before making application. If I have opportunity to change job I do it. I think it's normal you circumstances may change. Maybe I'm naive but I believe if my marriage is true I will get this permit sooner or later.
It is very frustrating and my mood goes up and down sometimes but I have faith. I try not to overthink each step I make, that would make me go crazy.

You are allowed to change job during your application, but you should inform the HO.

Today I'm going to share with you all the final outcome of this heavily traumatic journey I had been through for exactly 120 days today. Yes I got the FP delivered right today and thank God!

here is the timeline:
app submitted from Bangladesh:
application sub: 15th June 17
biometric : 15th June 17
FP issued on : 12 October 17
Got delivered : 16th October 17 exactly 120 calendar days today.
Yes received not straightforward mail as others on the forum.

made complaint to Home Office and received the so-called unable to uphold mail.

made 3 escalations within the last 2 months.
turned to SOLVIT 2 months ago and they for sure have made contact with UK based SOLVIT and then I don't know whether or not had liaised with visa section.
on the 10th of October, I emailed the contract centre lamenting and requesting for a decision made soon or returs the passport as urgently as they possible could to. same day early in the morning UK time at 06.13 received a confirmation saying they have urgently forwarded the mail to the appropriate department of the visa section.
on the 12th October early in the morning UK time at 08.05 received an email saying that they couldn't return the passport because a decision was being made and if I needed the passport that urgently I may had to withdraw the application and sent the email into a different mail address was mentioned in the email.
yesterday my wife receives a text onto her mobile phone at night Bangladesh time from the VSF Dhaka in Bangladesh informing to get her passport delivered. Early hours of this morning she got to the VFS and collected her passport with the FP issued in it on the 12th October the same day I received the answer from Sheffield Visa Section.

sooner or later all of us here on the forum and those out of this forum will get this good news because we deserve it. it's our right. I can feel the pain cause I too have been through this ling process. I really pray for all of you an FP issued sooooon! God bless!

Congratulations, glad to hear that she got the visa after waiting that long.

Can you tell me the process to escalate through email and the wording which we can use in it? And Can I write my personal circumstances as well?

Not straightforward email: 27 July
Escalated: 29 September – lady from call center informed us that application has been decided and she was confused why we did not get feedback yet, so she said that she will escalate the case
Decision made email: 4 October (exactly 60 working days from application date)

We did not escalate before end of September, as in ‘’not straightforward email’’ was stated that UKVI aim to process non settlement applications in 15 working days and settlement applications within 60 working days, so we assumed that there is no point of escalating before 60 days pass…

I called the office to escalate the matter the 4th tume.
The person said we are trying but suggested i google gov.uk and in the complaints for immigration you will find a complaints email id and to write to them with all details and escalations done so far. This would be a better way to fasten the process as they are helpless inspite of the many escalations done.
Have anyone written on this complaints email id

Need your suggestions.

Hello everyone, i have been following and reading this thread for a long time already. I would like to shed a ray of hope to everyone. I guess the processing time really depends on each country.
Here is my timeline:
Submitted at VFS BANGKOK
Date of Submission: Sept 18 2017
Biometrics : Sept 18 (same day)
Forwarded to UKVI : Sept 18 (same day)
Received at UK Decision Making Center: Sept 19
Not straight forward email: Oct 05
Collection of passport: Oct 12
But stamped on my passport: Oct 05

Got my family permit

im praying for everyones permit to be granted as soon as possible especially for those who have been waiting for a long time already.

Hello. I would like to know if anyone got the EEA Family Permit for a spouse where both the spouse and EEA citizen are outside the UK, ie the EEA citizen is not yet in the UK and the spouse is travelling together with the EEA citizen to the UK. What was the timeline like from Sheffield?

We just took 60 working days as some kind of deadline, because after 15 days I did not get visa (as I should have according to processing time on uk.gov site) and 60 days was mentioned in the email. It was our hope that after 60 working days Ill get visa, nothing else...
Somehow it happened that I got visa on that 60th working day,but think it was coincidence.

Could you please tell when did u receive passport and when the decsion made and stamped on passpport?

Hi,

I picked up my passport the next day as I got email that is ready for collection ( 5th of October). Visa validity is from 4th of September. The big question is why I got my passport after one month,but after all these months of waiting do not want to think about this, no point.

Applied from Belgrade 11 July (official processing time for Serbia is 15 days)
Not straightforward email: 27 July
Escalated: 29 September – lady from call center informed us that application has been decided and she was confused why we did not get feedback yet, so she said that she will escalate the case
Decision made email: 4 October (exactly 60 working days from application date)

We did not escalate before end of September, as in ‘’not straightforward email’’ was stated that UKVI aim to process non settlement applications in 15 working days and settlement applications within 60 working days, so we assumed that there is no point of escalating before 60 days pass…

Glad you got good news! Did you apply for an EEA Family permit? This is in fact a 'non-settlement' application.

Yes, I applied for an EEA Family permit. We just took 60 working days as some kind of deadline, because after 15 days I did not get visa (as I should have according to processing time on uk.gov site) and 60 days was mentioned in the email. It was our hope that after 60 working days Ill get visa, nothing else...
Somehow it happened that I got visa on that 60th working day,but think it was coincidence.
