Do I qualify as a QP?

Post by GoDutch » Mon Oct 16, 2017 2:24 pm

Hi all,

I’m a Dutch national who has lived in the U.K for 10+ years. I have PR.I’ve worked for only 1 year in the 10 years. I had to quit work as I have a disabled child and I am her sole carer. I also now have chronic pain and may undergo surgery. I only get Income Support but may get Personal Independence Payment (New version of Disability Living Allowance for 16-65).

I am getting prepared to apply for EEA extended FP for my nieces living in Kenya. My mother has died recently and they have no one to look after them and I paid their rent, food money, bills and everything. I can prove that I’m financially responsible for them.

Do I qualify for QP or do I have to sign on as Jobseekers?

However, I’m messaging as if I am my mother. She’s got more chance than I as a student, to be accepted.
