Online Status Check for Tier 2 Dependant Visa

Hi All,

Just wanted to check if the online status checker (link below) works for dependant applications or not?

I made an online application for my Son's dependent visa from inside UK last month. I have tried to track with Case id, Payment reference number and IHS number but the page does not show anything.

Does any one knows if it should work for dependant visa applications or not?

It should but also important to note that it doesn't always work as it is a BETA trial service.

I am doubting it does not work for dependant applications made on its own. The page says:

You can check your application for:

documents for EU nationals and family members
citizenship
family visas
settlement
work visas (Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 5 visas)
student visas (Tier 4 visas and short-term study visas)

And the above does not include dependant applications.
