Applying for passport // First time adult

Post by Tatalo » Mon Oct 09, 2017 10:04 am

Hi everyone,

I noticed that in the supporting document for applying for the Irish passport are the original Naturalisation certificate and the passport of the country of origin. Does that mean that I have to send both of them via Passport Express? and they will be returned together with the new Irish passport?

Thanks!

Isn't it a certified copy of a passport?

I'm not sure- but I think they're asking for the original passport and cert copy.

Hi all,
would anyone know that when you apply passport through appointment at public counter do they still keep your original current passport(till your Irish passport issued) or they give it back straightway ?

Thanks.

Hi,
you need to send your original non-eu passport along with other documents.

Once the procedure is done, they'll send you Irish Passport, non-eu passport and naturalization Cert in one pack by express post. :)

Its my personal experience. cheers.

God bless.
