He emailed me but just told me the reason that passport copy is expired and I'd card is not original...but like you advise me I will go for JR..😊
For there to be a successful JR, it may help if proper reasons are set out in an application, if possible, backed by an evidence, as to why the original cannot be provided.

That way you have have a bite of both cherries. Therefore if a judge argues that the regulation is lawful, there is be an alternate basis to fight.

I think this is not a good idea to send original at this stage
Its good for you to manage a original id
So wait for the decision and if Home Office ask you to provide the original id then submit it but not now.

Hi totally respect your advise but if you see all refusal in this forum home office didn't ask for original from anyone they just refused and said in. Refusal letter you are required to provide.

If you provide the valid reason that' why you can't provide the id/passport and also alternative evidence which I believe you submit photocopy.i think you should be fine . But I think as the JB Khan said in this stage the better is if you don't provide the original one .

Usual time period for ROR is 6 months, Usually Biometric letter comes within 1st month, and once submitted around a week later Certificate of Application. You got an email confirmation however normally for ROR they send by post. Good luck

Sorry to hear about your application refusal. This is an absurd reason. Before applying PR you can send an email to case worker mentioning how hard to get ID from ex Or you can send verified copies of ID to caseworker and request to reconsider. May be that will help.

Hello everyone. Please help me as this issue of mine is making me depressed and feeling so frustrated. I know this might not be the right thread to post this but please any advice would be appreciated greatly.
I am a non eea, got married to my polish wife at 2015 in my home country when I had a uk student visa which later expired in 2016. Me and my wife have been living together since our marriage and I have been working the job her dad gave to me with my n.i. Now me and my wife are having some misunderstandings and she's threatening to leave me. Please what documents do I need to apply to the h.o to have my stay as she said she might not assist my application anymore.
I have not applied to h.o using our marriage before because she said I am eligible to work and stay in uk as long as I am still married to her.
Please help me. I love my wife so much and we don't have a baby together just yet. Thanks you all as I await your responses.

Hi everyone,my application for ror has been rejected after 2 months of applying.reason stated applicant passport expired (which is not the case),actually passport bear an extension stamp on the next pages of passport and it is still valid till MAy 2018.such a negligence of case worker.just to remind forum I never got any letter for biometrics in all those 2 months. My question is; Whether the ho is satisfied with rest of my documentation provided e.g ex sponsor’s treaty rights and the expired passport is the only for rejection?
Or they just took passport as a first step toward going through my application and rest of the documentation still have to be considered?just want to know by forum what way it works?
Well I got all the application pack back with all passports of eu&non eu.no right of appeal given.just been told to submit fresh application.answer the query if someone knows many thanks

Hi hyider

Did actually your application was refused or rejected?

I was always wondering too, if first application got refused for one reason, can second one be refused with different reason...
Thanks
