NCS service and original documents

Hello.
I am planning on using the NCS service to submit my citizenship application as it seems more convenient and secure.

Does the NCS take copies of the original documents and give them back? I am planning to travel abroad after submitting my citizenship application and i will need my passport and biometric residence permit back.

Yes copies you keep originals. Only thing they keep is life in UK certificate if you have one.i

Yes NCS take back photo copies of all originals that you submit except LIUK test certificates.

Plan your travel after you do biometric enrollment to be safe!

I will only be away for 1 week maximum , is there any time limit on the BRP enrollment?

You have 15 days from the date of the biometrics letter, if you miss that you will get a reminder giving you 10 days, otherwise the application will be returned.
