Regarding your FP. You recieved a email or a SMS from VFS to pick up the passport or was it from Home office ??

Hello everyone.

I have applied for EEA FAMILY PERMIT but failed to provide supporting documents at VFS. Passport was returned with refusal letter

If I re-apply, will my visa processing time be the same as someone who is applying for the first time? Or will it delay as i am submitting the second time.

It should be exactly that same time as a new application, no reason why it should be longer.
Timeline:
Fourth application sent 21.07.17
HO received 24.07.17
Paid on 25.07.17
Biometrics 23.08.17
COA received 07.09.17
Passports received 07.09.16
Status: Decided on 10.11.17
Documents returned 13.11.17 dated 09
RC 13.11.17 dated 09

Hi Simran,

Congratulations and all the best.
I am preparing for my application, could you please let me know the documents checklist?
Also how to submit digital pictures and chat conversations?

Thanks much in advance.

Hello All,

I received finally my EEA FP yesterday! I hope and pray that all of you waiting get to see your families very soon! It has been a little over 7 months for me.
I applied on - 09.05.2017 and received it on 15.11.2017
It has been a long wait and a tough one but I wanted to thank everyone for their support! It has been such a relief to see others receive their visas and that is what kept me hoping!

Just to let you know - I escalated my case twice..I received a decision 5 days after applying for the second escalation. I am not sure weather this helped but I did contact my MP who didn't respond to any email. So I would suggest, if anyone has waited for a period of 6 months and over, its worth escalating. (I say this from my experience)

If there is anyone who can guide me regarding the application for a residence card, it would be very helpful! I have a 6 months visa after which I would like to stay back with my husband in the UK. I cannot travel in and out of the country once this visa expires. What if I have not received my RC by then? Can I still live in the UK without a formal document?

Any help will be appreciated.

Good luck to those who are waiting!
Simran :D

I have called the Government complaint for phone and they told me to wait a week and if no receipt nothing they have given me a number to send it directly where the Visa status is decided. Is that normal?
Moreover my lawyer says that in two weeks will do a letter stating that it has passed the limit of waiting for my Visa and is going to bring to the Court.
Someone has same problem than me? I applies from Madrid, Spain. 26/5/2017

Hi All,
Need advice!
Applied for EEA-FP from Islamabad on 25th May 2017.
Received a text message today "You visa application GWXXXX has been processed"
Nothing else has been written on it. No other text message or email. Kindly suggest what should we do, shall we go and collect passport?
Your advice will be appreciated.
Regards and good luck to all.
