Post by Aa_Raa » Tue Nov 21, 2017 7:21 am

Guys, I want a clear answer if you can help me please?

Does the policy 20.1 Family reunification applies on Irish Citizens by naturalisation. I've asked solicitors some say yes and some say no and I am confused so can anybody who had the same experience help me out on this

Much appreciated

Regards

My question to you my friend is do you think you are lesser (or 2nd class ) citizen because you naturalized ?

If No then you can enjoy all the benefits.

If yes then you can not enjoy the same benefits as Irish born :(

Hi,

I heard Policy 20.1 Family Reunification applies to naturalized Irish too.

Few guys even got refused because of 7 years elapse ruling on spousal permission. I chat with them online, they applied at Irish embassy, India. On the refusal letter embassy mentioned a date when they can reapply according to the policy.

I don't know, my opinion is-- this policy should not apply to Irish National, but Irish embassy, India is horrible!

Did u apply already?

please any updates/news.

good luck+God bless.

HI

I didn't apply yet but can you please double check if the Policy applied on them and when did that happen ?
I am bit concerned now that it may affect the Irish naturalisation as well

Thanks and regards
