Mistake in previous visa application

Dear all,

I was wondering if anyone could help me with this?

I am applying for an extension of Tier 2. For the previous address section, I have lived in A from 2012 - 2013 and B in 2013 - 2015. However, in a previous application, I have written that I have lived in A from 2012 to 2014 and B in 2014 and 2015. Would an inconsistency like this affect my application if I send an explanatory cover note?
