today they saying in the email your application is being considered and currently awaiting for te decision.
before they were saying decision has been made.
You have any idea how long you'll have to wait after this? Did you know anyone who's been in this situation and when they received the next email?
Thank you!

Hi guys!! Finally a small sigh of relief, got a call from vfs delhi yesterday and they told me vfs Mumbai will get in touch with me soon since I had applied from Mumbai and so today I received a call from vfs Mumbai saying my passport is gonna be dispatched thru royal mail today,....so just praying to God for a positive outcome and all the best to whoever is waiting...keep calm and be patient and have faith in God,ALL will be well.
My timeline is: biometrics-5th may
Not straight forward-22nd may
Escalated 5 times by phone and email
Received call from vfs delhi 30th nov
Received call from vfs Mumbai 1st dec-passpprt dispatched in post

I have contacted Solvit hoping they can help, but am afraid it might take longer do to there 10 weeks minimum to resolve issues.
I applied on 28 July 2017 from Nigeria and few days ago got and email saying they are unable to make a decision.

Unfortunately, the processing of your application has not been straightforward and we will be unable to decide your application within our customer service targets. We are continuing to work on your application and aim to make a decision as soon as possible."
(This is the standard line for all family-type applications for entry clearance, regardless of complexity).

all of which result in stress and anxiety for the clients who receive them, and a difficult job for their representatives trying to reassure them that something has not been done wrong or incorrectly on their part, it is simply a backside-covering exercise by UKVI.

It would be far more honest if UKVI simply said "We're sorry, we're awfully busy at the moment and it might take a long time to even look at your application, here's a number you can call for an update on how far along the queue your application is ... "

Congratulations.
News like this cheers me up.
I'm sure we will all get the good news soon.. I applied from Nigeria july21, the mast contact. With them was disappointing as they said they don't have a time frame for the decision.
I'm positive and hopeful
Once again congratulations to you nd everyone who's gotten theirs.

Hi guys, I received this email some days ago:

Thank you for your enquiry.
The assessment of this application has not been straightforward and as is subject to extended checks. This may mean that we hold the application for longer than normal, but in some cases it is essential that we do so. Our published guidance states that additional checks may be carried out in certain cases and as soon as we have completed our checks we will notify the applicant of the outcome of the application.

135 working days still waiting :(
Applied from Madrid, Spain (26/May/2017)
