IRL APPLICATION - 555 Days (single trip 50 days max) Outside in 10 Years Period

Hi

I need some urgent help. I came to the UK as a student 2008 (3 years graduation), 2011 then PSW self-employed(2 years) then 2013, £50,000 Entrepreneur tier 1 visa, my ten years are coming up in exactly 8 months. However, I have flown out more than 40 times of the UK but a single trip has never exceeded more than 50 days max. This was due to work and also holidays etc.

My total days are 555 days (15 days over the limit). The way I have calculated days from these 40 trips are i.e.

01/05/2015 Uk Arrival IN
4 Days


07/04/2015 Destination Arrival

12/05/2016 Destination Stamp

Is this the correct way to calculate the days since I want to apply for same day IRL instead of Tier 1 extension.

You don't count the day of departure and the date of Entry to the UK.

Absence count is WHOLE days out of the UK.

This, for example, should be 3 days (if you left on the 1st and came back on the 5th) = 3 full days.

01/05 TO 05/05 is 3 days as advised above.

It is definitely full days only - do not count any part of the day spent in the UK, only full days out of the country. Thus your first example is an absence of 3 days, not 4.

Thank you very much. I want to make sure that my application is watertight for the same day ILR. And, if you guys are mentioning that it is only FULL DAYS outside the UK then I might have a chance to be under 540 and it would also mean that I shouldn't travel for the next 6 months until my application is due.

This is correct & you have been advised this above several times. I suggest you read the guidance notes before making application.
