Housing benefits for sponsored ILE

Hello ,
I have indifinite leave to enter (resident permit) and I am sponsored by my husband who is british citizen
I divorced last year and I want to apply for housing benefit
Is it possible?

Did you apply for ILE prior to 9th July 2012?

I had my ILE in 30 November 2012
More than 5 years past.
