Hello eveyone,

I applied for ILR SET(P) on 21.12.2017, HO recieved my application on the 22nd.
got an email on the 03.01.2018
ACK letter recieved 05.01.2018
Biometrics enrolled 08.01.2018
The question is how long is going to take to get my Visa?
I applied for a new job and they asked me for my Visa, I could only show ACK letter and stil waiting for them whether they accept it or not!
Can anyone give me any advice please?

Thanks

Sam
They are taking 6 months or more at present to decide Set(P) applications so you are in for a bit of a wait.

You can use the acknwoledgment letter as proof of your eligibility to work in the UK. I gave mine to my employer and I am working now.

Hi peeps

I know im flying too fast and asking this question premature. I just sent application for the ILR a week ago and I understand normal SLA is 6 months.

Question: has anyone applied for the travel document after receiving their ILR and how long does it take?

When I applied for my first travel document after receiving the refugee status I got it after hefty 9 months.

Just curious.

Thanks.

My timeline:
Application sent 28/07
Updated on website 08/08
BRM sent 11/08

Still waiting!

Called Home Office 05/01. Received email response saying i'm still within service standard (6 month) period so no further information. Didn't think that trial web checking service (that's no longer running) had much information but at least it was letting us know when a decision's made.

I have been in many stressful situations but this is on another level!

Hi all

Here is my timeline

Posted the application : 02/01/2018
HO Received: 03/01/2018
Got Acknowledgement email: 11/01/2018
Received Biometric letter: 13/01/2018
Biometric enrolment: 15/01/2018

I guess I need to wait now :(

Btw on the biometric letter it says it will cost £19 but when I went there they told me that UKBA didn't charge me, so didn't pay anything, is this the case for all Set P applications?

Good luck everyone!
