Been 35 working days... still nothing

Hi guys - does anyone have experience with waiting for delayed YMS VISAS?

I applied for mine on 1st May and it's now been 35 working days.
My timeline:

1ST MAY - APPLICATION COMPLETED AND SENT
19TH MAY - APPLICATION NOT STRAIGHT FORWARD EMAIL

Have called the Home Office customer service 5 times and they said the status is still awaiting decision...

May I know if you have received your passport yet? I am in the same situation here..34 days now :(

I got it on my 40 working day, 28th of July

Hey guys,

I am in the same situation! Ahhh so frustrating!

Applied 24th July
Email received on 4 August saying they have received my application.
Email received on 17 August saying application not straightforward and will take longer than expected.
I emailed on the 27 August and they replied with "your application is currently awaiting approval"

It's the 6 September now and still nothing, it's been 33 working days!!!

I even wrote on my application that my partners dad had just passed away and I needed to get to the uk for his funeral and to support him and his family.. But they don't read it I don't think :(

Anyone else have some recent news or insight as to why the delay!? I had friends apply in May and receive their back within 3 weeks!!

Hey,

I am in the same situation. I applied for Tier 5 GAE on 13th of july. I got the not straightforward mail on 16th of August and since then I havent heard anything. I am going through the same stress as you as my internship already started from 1st of August.
Have you applied for tier 5 GAE or YMS?

I received an SMS and email today from VFS Global saying that my processed application has been received and will be sent to my address.

Will let you know when I receive my passport back in my hands!!

Did you got your visa? I got straightforward mail on 30th november.
Still no news and my internship will start on 22 january
