Thanks for your response..the reason I'm asking is that I apply July 2016 is your first application or extension as mine is but they invite me for exam I did in 2012 as I include the exam with my first application but the application was refused after over a year because I was overstaying and I can't proof living with my partner for 2 years and I re-apply and I was giving 30months in 2014.

Please guys.Are mine safe but when I saw @s.saki yesterday I have hope.

Any advice guys

I have 2 British kids and partner British too only me and HO still have my partner passport and kids birth certificate since July 2016,my solicitor sent 2 reminders already and I told him to ask for my partner passport last week Friday because she will need for her new job.

Just want to know if this will have any affect with my case.

Nawadys they do return the British passport they started doing so in mid 2017 .

If you have a solicitor talk to them about it, but I would say 1 year and a half. It would really, really depend on your history though. My solicitor has had many refusals following a PAP then lengthy court appeals with errors of law applied.

The return of your partners passport should be done online
We asked for my partners passport 6 months from the date we applied and they returned it and no problem
I would say 100% there is no problem asking for your partners passport but it should get done online and not by letters
Be careful just in case you tick any wrong box and you withdraw your application

Letters are by Royal Mail I think.
But brp is Dx delivery

When you say no response means no acknowledgment no finger prints done? If all done means you hit respond from HO now just waiting for decision which is massive waiting time average 12 month on FLRFP . If any one case not string enough mean straight away they send refusal with in 5 to 7 month if any one case got stronge enough they keep on side to make them wait but eventually they will grant visa.

i mean after biomatric i did not receive any update but they sent me letter in sep 2017 to do reporting every month. its been 6 months now doing reporting and i submitted application on 11 2016 and still waiting
