Hi I made an application in October 2016,

on the onlilne status the home office website show it has been considered on the 11th April 2017, but still showing "awaiting decision & Decided"

Any help what that means guys and how long I have to further wait.??

thanks.

No way it take this long check with home office call them and get the up date on your application.
There is a possibility they sent out a decision which never delivered to you . This is common problem.
One of my friend had same issue he applied in solicitor told him more home office will take better for you and you establishing life in uk and he kept waiting after waiting 3.5 years he contacted HO with different solicitor and in reply home office told him your file is closed because we sent out letter 2 time 3 years ago asking for further documents which you never provided and your file is closed, he took matter to court which took another 1 year and finally got 2.5 years instead ILR . Better to get in touch with HO direct . There is not any harm and it won’t do any bad impression on your case . You have right to live and apply to get your stay legal .

I phoned them 2 weeks ago they sent me an email which says the case is still under consideration, today i phoned them again and they called me back saying my case is still under consideration. I never moved to any other addresses i still live on the same address which is also the address in my app. Wonder why its taking that long for a decision.

Well if you buying a time to live it’s better let it go more longer because if any amnesty came you will be better than and chances are very high in 2019.
But if your case is strong enough fight it take them to JR or contact to your MP as well. Best option to take them JR if you have strong case .

I have absolutely no words reading about your application. 3 years, that is incredibly long. Did you use a solicitor or do this yourself? A PAP (claim before court) would be advisable, however as one member said the longer the wait time, the more chances of a positive decision being made.

I do find the wait time shocking, you've waited enough time for an extension if you were legal. Unbelievable.

We have been waiting 1 year and 6 months for the FLR FP, married, living for 2 years, I am financially stable and own my own property, he's an overstayer since 2007. Meet every single criteria under this application yet we wait and wait for an answer. Every week we see time fly by. It's more time for me to prepare a thrilling court case: for I will show them what they have done to our lives. God help all those waiting and know you're not alone. x

Husband's timeline - overstayer 11 yrs
08/16 - FLR (FP) Partner, refused 02/18, 03/18 - JR permission refused with merit
08/18 - FLR FP (Partner) PSC - Approved
07/20 - FLR FP to FLR M Switch - Approved, 03/23 FLR M Ext Approved.

When I made my application it was a British child and no partner
but now we are together and living together so I don’t know whether to update that to home office or just overlook it

You'll need to send them a letter informing them of this change, to vary the application from FLR Parent to a Partner Route (10 year), provide proof of co-habitation. This is really important as your extension will be based on parent route, not a partner and if circumstances changes, you should inform them.

Can't seem to edit my original reply: I just realised partner route does define and dictate the requirement for 2 years cohabitation akin to Married couple, this may pose a problem, probably best to get some advice before proceeding with this - other than that I'm really glad that you have patched things up :)
