Documents with MN1 Form

Post by amnaali03 » Fri Feb 09, 2018 8:14 pm

Dear Members,

I am going to apply for naturalization [Section 1(3)] of my Uk born 1 year old daughter and 2 year old son. Both never traveled outside Uk, never applied for any visa. My son has my home country passport.

I have plan to apply online and then send the other documents by post.

I have the following documents to send:

1- Passport of my son (home country passport) [Daughter has no passport]
2-Birth certificate of both
3-Print of online filled application and referee signed form
4-My marriage certificate
5-Copy of my BRP (ILR)

Please let me know that the procedure i am following and these documents are Ok to send? Any thing extra or missing? Especially copy of my BRP will be Ok to send? I have plan to travel, so not want to send mine original BRP.

I shall be thankful for your help.

Regards

I believe you need to send both parents' passports as well (originals or certified copies by solicitor). And original ILRs. Also other stuff might apply, see below:

Hi twgal, thanks for your reply. But my wife passport is already with ukvi. She is my dependent and we both applied for Tier 1 entrepreneur extension and then latter I varied my my application to ILR (LR). So my wife application is still pending and I am thinking to apply for her FLR(M) also.

So what can be solution of this?

Or apply through NCS so you get to keep the originals.

Children

Q2: Which documents are needed for registration as BC?

If applying under section 1(3) (child born in the UK to parents who now at least one parent holds ILR), the following documents are required:

- Original full UK birth certificate for the child (with the ILR parent named on it).
- Original child passport (if has one).
- Parent's passport showing ILR / BRP. (photocopies of all pages are accepted)
- Marriage certificate (if child born before 2006).

Birth cert is fine.

If child doesn't have a foreign passport, no issue.

Other two not required.

Please don't start multiple topics with the smar question. Most members are commuting home to their families at this time of the day, be patient!!

thanks for the reply, sorry about that. Last question: do I need to send ILR original or my or spouse passport as well, or photocopies will suffice.
