The reason may be that our RLMT is very straightforward. There is one website all the hospitals use to advertise so it is easy for them to verify that it has been done correctly. Since there are many of us on the same group we are able to pass along information quickly (which may not be the same for other professions). Also junior doctors salaries range from 30k to 50k so they cover most of the spectrum of mid-low earners. And I am only giving updates on junior doctors who are on the non shortage occupation list. Our group does not have any nurses in it.

what job you do, IT or NHS?

Hi everyone,
I feel they have started to consider the December and January refused cases first.
my employer got a e-mail to saying that as your applications is refused for last 2 months, send the details of the applicants and theirs roles.
I think December and January rejections will be given exceptions this month. Lets see
31.

Hello everyone, I just got my CoS approved. I think this month is a good month. I'm on the shortage list and I got refused in November,December, and January ..I didn't post my refusal responses in those months this is because I didn't want to discourage people because shortage occupation should not experience that kind of delay. I know everyone will smile eventually. SOC is 2217.
Congrats ! I see someone got with 43.. possibly next will be between 35-42. I just concerned that I can see only NHS doctor/nurse approved.. !

Can this really be true? Vinijegan can you give any more details of this circumstance!

I got rejected in December and January with 31 points but my employer held off from submitting my application in February because of quota. I'm wondering if i should contact by HR about this.

May I know why they did not reapply for you? As far as I know they are only charged when they assign a CoS to you and not just for reapplying for a refused CoS.

I honestly do not know. My employer only told me that they weren't going reapply in February because there wasn't a good chance I would get it under the February allocation month.

My employer does outsource my visa application to a specific legal company though so perhaps there is a reapplication cost coming from them.

Based on the December and January's quotas I'd expect HO to give all answers back by the 19th at the latest.

I would expect this to get updated today or tomorrow TBH

The dates which you are seeing against every month are the dates of final figures. The first update comes quite quickly though.

Hey guys I have just had one confirmed approval from a junior doctors in the NHS today. I requested her salary but have not received a reply yet. It was about 3 hours ago when her HR informed her of the approval.

There are still many of us junior doctors waiting for approval so I do not think we are getting any special treatment.

About 30-40 of us are active on the facebook group so I think about 70-80 in total have applied. Today seemed to be for shortage occupation mostly because a lot of the emergency medicine doctors on the shortage occupation got their CoS today. Some shortage occupation doctors are still waiting for their CoS though.

It may have been a slow day in general for the home office. Hopefully we get more clarity tomorrow.

Hhmm not a good sign that it has been so quiet today.

However I noticed on the board some people posting that they had verification errors when they tried to use their cos numbers. HO may have been getting contacted and wanted to make sure this is sorted before allocating more.

This seems fairly positive - as my app was also refused for Dec & Jan period and I know several others who are in the same boat. It does seem like a fair move as few of us have been waiting for months despite successful RLMT and valid points.

I'm not sure about Feb results but it does seem like HO is working towards resolving the backlog + handling the medical recruit surplus. Let's hope for some positive news this week.

We will get to know when somebody other than NHS gets the approval for 30 35 points. I don't think that would be the case if that's the case nobody from this month would get Thier COS it's unfair and it will be mockery of the points based system. Why should others also suffer the same fate. Am bit biased here though sorry.
If that's the case all the best and enjoy.

I agree krimurthy
it is just points, thats all (as per the Sponsor guide) - I am sure current log, backlog etc is considered based on points order only
