Holder's Signature / HMPO Text

Post by throwawaynicoport » Wed Feb 14, 2018 2:36 pm

Dear members,

Apologies if this is off topic. I had attended my citizenship ceremony last week and the passport is on its way today. I have received text message from HMPO asking me to sign the passport in holder's signature section. Just want to know if this is standard procedure. I was under the assumption that my signature from passport application form would be scanned and printed on passport. I haven't come across this topic in the forum yet, perhaps I'm looking at the wrong place.

Thank you in advance.

They have changed the format and design of the passports.

You need to sign it on the relevant page.
