UK NARIC

Hi,

While applying NARIC certificates via NARIC website, I selected Settlement option instead Tier 2 via red route, I got below statements, can I use these for my Tier 2 General visa ? or I need apply again selecting Tier 2 option ? in these statement they never mention about visa category. Please advice.

I assume red route is common route for Tier 2 General/settlement. There is no separate route for settlement. So I am not sure which route you are talking about.

While requesting for the statements, online form does ask about the immigration category and Tier.

On the UK NARIC webpage under red route, it's explicitly mentioned as:

"The VisasAndNationality service supports applications made through the following PBS (Points-Based System) immigration routes:

Tier 1 Entrepreneur
Tier 1 Graduate Entrepreneur
Tier 2 General
Tier 2 Ministry of Religion
Tier 2 Sportsperson
Representative of an Overseas Business visa
The service also supports family, settlement and citizenship/naturalisation applications."

I almost faced this issue recently, i.e. first applied in blue route and just at last moment changed to red (as for visa/settlement this is needed
When I spoke with NARIC guys on phone, they told the blue route certificates are still accepted by UKBA, however red route is appropriate (and soon UKBA will write a rule about only accepting red route certificte - i guess till then we are OK)

please call them (NARIC) up to get double confirmation
