FLR (M) - URGENT HELP

Hello,

I am currently applying from my FLR (M) as I need more time to pass the life in the UK test. The application states that I need to send my sponsors (wife) VALID passport or a photocopy of every page. The guidance notes, however state that I need to send me wife's VALID OR MOST RECENT PASSPORT. The passport is expired.

Based on the guidance notes - it should't be a problem as its the most recent passport?

The FLR needs to be sent urgently so no time to renew the passport.

Anyone been in this position?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
