They said that I did not provide the TB test. The country my husband applied from don't need to provide it.
I will appeal against the decision.
I don't think you can do admin review if you have the right to appeal.
Yes first they review it, if it's there fault and error it won't go to an hearing court appeal.
It's HOs fault my solicitor and mp are involved and I filed an complaint against HO.
You should tell your mp to write a letter to the FCO they will reverse there decision 🙏🏽
Yes same i have sent a complaint email. What did your Mp write to them. I think I should also speak to our MP. I can't believe after waiting for 6 month we get refused and it's their error.
Speak to your mp they will do something faster than the solicitor for the appeal they will write a letter to the FCO and they will reverse the decision asap. I'm going now to my mp
gather all the proof u have. Wish me luck I will let you know what's happening.
Hi, I hope that you already got the visa by now. But how is the appeal with you going. I am still waiting for a decision from the home office.

Dear members,

Has anyone come across interview process during spouse visa application. if yes, can you please list some important questions. who they contacted i.e. husband, wife, employer, landlord etc.

Has anyone been refused spouse visa (I don't wish but you know HO) and why? this will help others to submit their applications correctly.

regards,

Shakil

Hello
Thanks everybody for sharing your experience
In this forum
We apply for my wife visa from Istanbul,
On November 2017
85 days until now
Today I received a email from Sheffield visa Centre:

Thank you for applying for a UK visa. Your visa application has been
received and is under consideration. We aim to process non settlement
applications within 15 working days (unless you have opted for the Priority
Visa service), and settlement applications within 60 working days.

Unfortunately, the processing of your application has not been
straightforward and we will be unable to decide your application within our
customer service targets. We are continuing to work on your application and
aim to make a decision as soon as possible.

We will write to you again if there is any change to this. Please do not
attend the Visa Application Centre until you have been advised that your
application has been decided and that your passport is ready for collection.

Kind Regards,

Dear CR001,

I understand you guys are trying to keep forum organised. sometimes its not easy to get relevant information even after reading a complete thread or threads. That's why i ask questions where i feel relevant. It will be helpful if you guys copy link of related thread/info. I am not trying to make it messy.

Can anyone please paste link or interview questions and related information? I greatly appreciate your help.

I am in same situation. Applied on 15th Nov 2017 (Non Priority) Settlement with child
Bio was taken on 20th Nov 2017
Not Straight Forward Email received on 6th Feb 2018
No inquiry called made to Sponsor. And no IHS payment is taken for Child yet. Not sure what is happening?? Can they refuse without taking Child IHS payment? it has been over 3 months now. May be HO is considering to refuse therefore not bother asking for child IHS.... Any advise?

@ Esi esi: It has been 65 working days out of 95 days in total for me from Bio metric date. It is Non Priority application and i am considering to give them more time and shall contact them through E-mail for status in first week of March. Usually it is useless activity to call their expensive phone line or E-mailing HO because the operator has standard answer for everyone " it is in process or decision is not made yet". We know that for God sake, "it is in process", thank for giving information we already knew.
No i did not contact them yet. But shall E-mail them to escalate it in first week of March and later contact MP as well if they do not make decision in March.
What is your timeline please?

Ah ok. Mostly what I have seen they usually call regarding employment if there is more than 1 job shown. Obviously it all depends on individual case. Is it a well known workplace / company you work for? I think they are still doing background checks on you,

Hi Guys

I am new to this forum, and was wondering if anyone can shed some light on an Settlement application I submitted for my spouse, who is from Bangladesh.

Timeline is

online application submitted - 29th Nov 2018
Biometrics- 7th December 2017 at VFS Sylhet
acknowledgement email from UKVI on the 8th December 2017
Project timeline- 12 weeks
Supporting docs sent so Sheffield -15th December 2017
Support Docs received back from UKVI - 11 January 2018

12 weeks will be up on the 7th March 2018 , have heard anything from UKVI up until now, does anyone have any idea on how long it takes to hear back from them. I haven't received no emails say "APPLICATION NO STRAIGHTFORWARD , OR ON HOLD" etc. should I contact them and see what's going on or just wait ?

any help or advise will be much appreciated

many thanks

Khaled

@Khaled9

I have seen a few Bengali applications which were submitted in November approved recently.
Which address did you send your support docs to? PO BOX or Vulcan house, I ask because it took them 1 month to send your docs back.

You should email and ask for status update.

Hi Londoner007

Many thanks for your response.

I sent it to the P.O. Box address

Address is as follows
P.O. BOX 5852
Sheffield
S11 0FX

UKVI me a cover letter, with my supporting DOCS stating they have reciveved all documentation and scanned it, they advised no further action is required from my part , if they require further information they will get in contact, and they will contact the applicatant in due course with a decision.

I haven't had any emailes from UKVI for requests for futher docs or anything. My solicitor advised to wait the full 12 weeks as they may let me know one or two odays before the 12 week deadline, and to call them on or after the 12 week Mark for an update.

What would you sujest I do going forward?

Regards

Khaled

@Londoner007: Thank you for suggestion. I am thinking to contact UKVI E-mail for status but i also heard that they only reply back with standard message (e.g) application is in process, etc.. But i shall send E-mail on monday 5th March and ask for status and Escalation.
I wonder why HO did not ask me to pay child IHS yet it has been over 14 weeks now since application is made. Sometime i feel probably they want to refuse that's why not bothering asking me to Pay IHS?

Not necessarily, it can also mean the child was a born British so dint require to pay IHS. Only they know, so ask for update via email. Was your child born after you got naturalized?

InshaAllah you will hear some good news very soon. Those from Sylhet who did biometrics in late November got approvals 3 weeks ago. Yours is early December so you'll hear very soon.
