I am even scare to go to JR. They might make copies from my original and present them on JR and say that are the documents which he was submitted. The HO still keeps original... can`t stop fear, all the time under pressure of deportation... so hard to bear it...

Asylum claim wait time

Post by kdjotiguy » Tue Mar 06, 2018 1:18 am

Hi everyone,
I am a bit concerned because i went for my screening at the end of March 17, at the end of April i have been sent by the home Office to do my biometric at the post office which i did, they called me for my interview in Liverpool at the end of June, i went there and i feel the interview went really well. I did not hear from them till the end of September 17 that they sent me a letter telling me that they couldn’t make a decision within 6 months so they need 2 more months to decide, at the end of November 17 i have received the same letter again telling me to give them 2 more months, at the end of January 18 again they sent me the same letter telling me to give them 2 more months again to make a decision. I am really confused now i do not know what to do anymore, this is almost a year that i have started this application and i did not have any initial decision yet. Could you guys help me?

Ps : This is the first time i apply for asylum

Hi every one. I need help too please. I came uk December 2010. My homeoffice interview and court all refused. Sep 2014 did fresh claim and June 2017 my fresh claim refused with no right to appeal. How ever it was unfair decisions and my solicitor get a new appointment in liver pool for me and in October 2017 I submitted about 400 pages that shoes the decision was not right. Any one knows what’s the next step and how long I should wait ? I have my husband and two kids 2 and 6 (both born in uk) but the situation is frustrating :( please help .

Hi, what is the JR ? I did make another further submission and I’m worried it take another 2 years and 9 months. Is that usually take such a long time to review the fresh claim ? Are the time scheduled for another further submission same as the first one ?
Thank you

Just to update. My solicitor had sent pre-action protocol to the Home Office (HO) about Judicial review (JR) and HO has withdrawn the negative decision and now has to make a new decision positive or negative within 3 month. I very wonder if to be honest ^_^
