Have RP but live abroad. Can I come back for a short time?

So I have a residence permit as a spouse of UK sitizen (valid till the end of August 2019) but we both moved abroad for my husband's job in October 2017. Now I am thinking to come for a week to London but not shure whether I would be granted entry with my RP (I am myself Russian so need visa even for a short entry). Before they normally asked me if I lived in the UK permanantly (so as my husband). No we do not anymore. Does anyone have an idea how this work? I could not find this info on Home office's web-site.

Would appreciate your advice and references on Home Office docs, if possible. Thanks!

Do you have a Residence Permit under the EEA Regulatons or a visa under the Immigration Rules

Sorry I do not know the difference to be honest . I had TIER 2 (work visa or RP) then got merried to British citizen and switched to spause (visa or RP). Was issued for 2,5 years in London. Which category is it ?

It appears that you were issued with a FLR(M) visa. You should be able to enter the UK, but you may well be questioned to confirm whether you and your husband are still together. However, there may be an issue with your next visa extension if you and your husband are no longer resident here.
