ILR + 2 Yr Working Holiday + 2 Yr Work Permit = Okay?

The subject should be clear enough... :)

The four years requirement for ILR, any chance the 2-year stay as working holidaymaker would be counted?

It will certainly NOT be counted. The rules are very clear as to which categories the 4 year rule applies to, mainly WPs and HSMPs. It will only be considered under the 10 year rule for ILR applications.

If that is the case, I probably won't have the patience to wait here for another 4.5 years to get the citizenship and better move back home early as the British Government is not keen to have immigrants like us paying almost £25k of tax without getting any benefit at all. What a country!
