Hi All,

I received my approval letter today and so happy about it. Here is my timelines:

Application sent: 12/10/2017
Biometric given: 13/11/2017
Approval letter date: 28/02/2018
Approval letter received: 02/03/2018
BRP: Waiting

Hope it goes well for all of you waiting.
Brp received: 06/03/2018
Congrats. did they send you the BRP by signed delivery? would anyone be able to receive it on your behalf?
Yes they send it by DX which requires signature, but I think if you leave some sort of id with someone who will receive your BRP that should be fine as well if they show your id. I know people did this before but not sure if DX still allows that or not.

Hello Everyone.

I have been reading this forum for long time (probably, like 3 years) and it is very useful. Thank you for everyone, who contributed and shares the information.

I have applied for my SET (P) last week. Today received an acknowledgement letter together with BRP requests but only for myself, as I am the main applicant. I have also had a dependant on my application but Home Office have not issued a BRP bar code for my dependant (who is an adult).

Can anyone confirm whether HO will send BRP request for dependant as well or only the main applicant should only enrol the biometrics.

Thank you
Dependents will each get separate letters to enroll biometrics.
Thank you very much! I thought so, but still needed to confirm. Anyway, still will call them, they made a mistake in my address - how come!!!

I am really sorry to bother again, but does anyone know how long it takes to get a BRP enrolment letter for dependants??? I am afraid HO can forget about the dependant as o any reference are shown in the initial letter at all.

Thank you

I think it doesn’t matter on the card say 2024 because you can apply for British citizenship before it expires mate.

Dear PPTP. I sent my application with my daughter. After 2 weeks I received 2 separate biometric enrolment but they came the same time and put in the same envelop. You should double check with home Office.

Hello Datle. Thank you for the reply. Well, you see for children under 18, I suppose yes, they will send everything in one envelope. But if a dependants is over 18!? TBH I thought they would do exactly the same as they did 5 years ago: put two BRP letters in one envelope - and no problem. Will wait for another week and if no letter, will write. The interesting thing, that on the acknowledgement letter there are no any reference that I have applied with dependant - only my name. It looks very strange to me.
