Can’t see it happening but it would be great if some of the 45 point applications were approved this month - could easily justify taking some and not others too as there is a range of salaries in that 45 point band.Plabber_123 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 13, 2018 8:19 pm Hey guys. I just read of a junior doctor whose CoS was approved in a non shortage occupation. His friend seems certain that his salary was 51k but this is not confirmed yet. If this is true then the score will probably be 46 again which is good news for us applying with 45 and below next month. Also we had a confirmed refusal for someone whose salary was 44.5k.

Re: March 2018 Restricted COS
My COS has been approved this time, it was the 5th time. Not sure if it has been approved on 42 points or more. I made a request for a raise to my employer looking at the trend of RCOS being approved at 50 points and i think it has been approved. P.S: My employer provides me the least information. My skill is in non-shortage.

Congrats some relief for you. What was your basic salary? Can you check with your HR on what salary you got the approval, if it's possible.samee7264 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 14, 2018 6:48 amMy COS has been approved this time, it was the 5th time. Congrats samee. Based on the current inputs, can we say anything above 50 will be approved if the RLMT is proper?samee7264 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 14, 2018 6:48 amMy COS has been approved this time, it was the 5th time. Re: March 2018 Restricted COS
Hi everyone!
May I ask how long is the validity of the RLMT? My employer said we met already that criteria so they will just reapply this April, so no need to do RLMT again, so we are just hoping that it will be granted this April since it will fall in the new CoS allocation year 2018/2019.

Re: March 2018 Restricted COS
The RLMT is valid for 6 months from the date the job was advertised (or the start of the first advertisement if it was advertised in 2 stages).kristelaustria wrote: ↑Wed Mar 14, 2018 7:20 am Hi everyone!

So say your job was first advertised on the 30th of November it will be valid until the 30th of May.
Please note however that even though the quota is re-set in April only a certain amount of certificates are still given out each month. Even though there will be a few more available in April, with the significant backlog of rejected applications from previous months it's most likely people will still have trouble getting RCOS in April too.
We also don't know if any criteria changes will occur come the new financial year.

If your salary is above 50,000 then there is a very good chance your Rcos will be approved going by current trends. Congratulations .kishorerjy wrote: ↑Wed Mar 14, 2018 7:14 amCongrats samee. Thank you so much for your response! It was posted November, so I guess, this April will be the last month it is valid. Prayers Prayers Prayers!

Yes this is what i have been seeing. 50k and doctors were getting through. Although, i am also a doctor but my pay was too low to make 50 points. Feels great that i did it?kishorerjy wrote: ↑Wed Mar 14, 2018 8:26 amBro, I am waiting for long time. I am following up with my Emploer from 12th. I didn't receive any good news yet. Re: March 2018 Restricted COS
Atleast if 50k gets through this month then it's about 45 band, can we guess there might be 500 at that band next month (Excluding expired RLMT, pulled offers etc)?
Also have one more significant question: Can they assign reclaimed RCOS in the last 3 months in April as the allocation year is fresh? I looked at the previous year tab in UK website which was not clear.

Re: March 2018 Restricted COS
They unfortunately cannot assign rcos from the previous months that have expired since it is a new quota.krimurthy wrote: ↑Wed Mar 14, 2018 9:58 am Atleast if 50k gets through this month then it's about 45 band, can we guess there might be 500 at that band next month (Excluding expired RLMT, pulled offers etc)?

Yes I do feel the 45 band will have about 300-500 people in it which should just about go through in April.
Waiting for the CoS allocation numbers for this month to be updated so we get a better insight. I would think there are just about 1500 Cos this month (including reclaimed ones) which would mean 700 more for next month's 45 and below scores.
Re: March 2018 Restricted COS
Are we 100% sure the 45 points will all get refused this month?
So far it seems we have news of a rejection of 44 points but no 45s yet?
