This month point is 60K. Any non-shortage application with salary below 60K have been refused. This has been confirmed by my agent. You will get refusal email soon if you haven't.

Wow, this doesn't sound too positive as the Minister of Immigration keeps stating the following terms: "carefully controlled economic migration, "protecting the jobs of British workers", "national interest", "immigration policy that reflects the needs of our economy", "employ from within UK".

No increase to the current 20,700 quota or changes to the points system is mentioned here which means the situation might just roll onto the new allocation year. Looks like HO just wants the problem + backlog to naturally resolve itself over the coming months i.e employers/employees dropping out, less people applying.

I guess this is a concern for everyone, such as myself, below the current trend of 60/55/46 points...

That was a month ago though.

We’ve only started hearing murmers that they may be starting to discuss it in the past week and a bit. To be honest it wouldn’t surprise me if the immigration minister didn’t even know there was a real issue until a couple of weeks ago.

I wouldn’t give up just yet.

Hi.. I have been following this tread for sometime now. Let me share you my scenario. Applied with 45 points (highly reputed organisation) in Jan, Feb and Mar. Refused all the time. It was the 1st time that the organisation had a RCOS refusal. Now here comes the worst part.

They have withdrawn my job offer all together. I currently have a valid dependent visa, valid for multiple years, to work in the UK. They have re-posted the job requirement on job portals. How bad can it get? :D I left my previous job, which was a well payed secured job with the anticipation that in Jan'18 I will get the RCOS. No one told me (company or solicitor) that I should quit my previous job once I receive the approved RCOS. Now I have been jobless for 3 months and will go back to the market searching for a new job. Need to explain to many recruiters/ companies why I have a gap of 3 months.

Just wanted to share the horrible experience I have been through. FYI, I am not a doctor, or nurse, or on the shortage occupation list.

It's really difficult to predict. My understanding is 150 each month from December which makes it 750 in the April month. Lets remove 150 from December as I believe many around 45 band will be expired due to RLMT validity. And some 100 where they have raised the salary or pulled out, makes it 500. I think 45 will somehow go through this April if they borrow 100 from May. For people from 37-42 in may.

These are all just predictions though. I really hope we have some change and all of us can get through in April.
Hi krimurthy,

From your comment I need clarity on one point about,
[RLMT validity?
How many CoS's can be applied on RLMT?

In my case my employer applied CoS in the current month (march) and it got rejected and can my employer re-use the RLMT for another CoS application?

Appreciate your thought.

your RLMT is valid for 6 months from the date when it was first advertised. It should be fine atleast till Jul or Aug.

What are your points.

Hi,
Just wondering would a job ad that states the salary as "competitive + benefits" without stipulating any actual salary or range be accepted for the RLMT?
Thanks

Thanks Krimurthy for info, now I can breath easy.

My CoS was applied on £46000 pay scale so approximately as per above calculations 20+25= 45 points.
Trying our best in the month of April.

Even I had this query. Same was mentioned in my job advertisement. Then my employer is the A+ rated sponsor and one of the top 4 tier 2 sponsors in UK. It means they know what they are doing. Have also seen the same for other roles which is advertised from my employer. Nothing to worry.

Why not read through the relevant appendix to see or do you expect members to post the 100s of jobs on the list :?:
