18.5k confusion

Post by paru.org » Fri Apr 06, 2018 4:13 am

Dear gurus/moderators,

I would like to thank u all for ur advice , i successfully got my wife spouse visa on 5 yr route within uk..
it is initial grant of 30 months.
would u pls advice>>

1) do i need to maintain this 18 k threshold throughout 30 months period for nxt extension or
is it OK to show it for just last 6 months when she will due extension?

2) at end of 5 yr period , does she again have to show income threshold for last 6 months?
someone confused me saying that at end of 5 yr period HO check for all 5 yrs if u dont maintain throughout 5yr they put u on 10 yr route> it it true?

thx

The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Seagul's advice is correct

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.
