The tribunal has had my appeal for more than 28 days, they have had since just before Christmas, its now ending of February and I asked the courts do they have the appeal they said yes and that they are waiting to send it to home office. From what I understand there is a long line of appeals being sent to the Home office for a review. basically just on a whos next basis
Ballmigirl17, I think the Tribunal will be awaiting for the response from the HO (review), which will be 12 weeks, and only after that, they will schedule your hearing...
Hi Katie, i know we have a long way to go yet but what i mean is our appeal hasn't evfen been sent for a review yet, 2 months later and still waiting :(

I telephoned the Tribunal yesterday and was told HO has 15 weeks to review it and come back to the Tribunal with the bundle.

Hello Fighter, how've you been?
Where are you now regarding the appeal you put in?
Have u heard anything new from them already?
I've put in appeal too, to take 15weeks for the HO to make a decision, that's a really long wait. I'm thinking of reapplying again.

Why have you posted the same question again in the same topic when I have asked you to post your question in user 'fighter130' topic already???

Hi there!

I have re-applied a month ago - another €3000 off my budget. Still nothing re the appeal.

If you don't want to waste 1+ year of your life, I would strongly suggest you to reapply and swallow it. This is the way it works...

It will be logical if they will grant, but there is no guarantee that they will. It is likely that your remedy will be on appeal.

Fighter

Could I please ask when you received your notice of appeal as we both appealed within 10 days of each other

I only received notice of appeal on 16th March :( but appealed on 18th Dec.

The court gave me a deadline of 29th June for the home office to do their appeal review

Thanks, Obie. I do not believe that the appeal will work out anyway for various reasons, so this is why I took a decision to reapply. Nothing is guaranteed with UKVI, I understand it but at least this time the application was professionally prepared, so I see not reason to reject it again.

I appealed in December 2017 and got my appeal notice around end of January 2018. Ignore this 'deadline', it is confusing. UKVI has 15 weeks to do the review. Read my previous comments about it.

Hi

It just seems strange to me that you got your notice of appeal in one month and we have had 3 months wait!!

Update: Received my visa as a result of FRESH APPLICATION. In total it took them 35 working days on PRIORITY. Conclusions: Do not try to save money on immigration advisers - you will pay much more as a result. Also, do not listen to FREE advice you get here on the forum. Good luck, everyone. I am now going to make some noise about how HO treating people, will go to press, try to drag them to court, etc. Maybe I will keep you update but since people are very passive...

Congratulations fighter130!

That was quick! I am also waiting for my second application... 24th business day so far...

Did you contact your MP about previous rejection? We contacted ours, but it seems HO brushes him off as well.

Thanks Katie,

Yes, we have contacted our MP and I wrote about the process here. In short, a complete waste of time.

Bit unfair to say no one should listen to advise in the forum. All the best now that you have got the outcome you wanted.

Maybe luckily you got a good immigration advisor whose trick worked in your case. But in my opinion a lot advisor even read this wide forum to help it's clients. And regarding taking action against HO after getting visa then be informed that they are also very professional in defending themselves and they also know that you will come across with them again on extension time 8) 8)
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

really wish I had the money to do it again! but begrudge paying them a penny more than they deserve because in my eyes they didn't do job properly first time im not confident second time!!

but anyhow congratulations! enjoy time in UK :)

As for going to press, I've been doing it for 7 months. No one is interested :(

I think we should all consider filing a Group Litigation against the HO. They certainly caused emotional distress, financial loss and a lot more to thousands of people. They should pay for their lack of empathy and humanity

Thanks for warm wishes, everyone!

Londoner007 - ok, maybe it was a bit emotional, let me rephrase it - be careful taking free forum advice onboard. However, this is my experience and I do not impose it, only sharing.

Seagul - Actually, this is a very good point, 100% right. We will all come back to HO in 2.5 years for extension and in another 2.5 years for ILR, which may be tricky, if you play hard. Well, I guess I will quietly swallow it and search for a good job. My adviser only checked my second application (wish I would have used this person for the first one but...).

Lulu65 - in another topic a few people mentioned this but I do not believe somebody would dare doing it, for many reasons.
