Re: Bank Statement

Post by sidshekhar » Fri Apr 18, 2008 7:16 am

I don't think that will be necessary. As in my case the salary goes in name 'RCX' and it does even closely match with my company's name. What matters is that the amount going in the acount should be same as shown on Pay Slip. Highlight the salary in pay slip. You can supplement a cover latter with table pointing to the payslip date and when it was credited to the bank.
touchsensor wrote:Hi everyone,

I have a slight doubt, those who got their tier 1 approval perhaps could clarify; do you need to have the word 'salary' stated on your bank statement for your wage or just company name is sufficient?

Please let me know.

Thanks.

Kind regards.

Hi Gob00st,

Is their any news from yours side and Asiar. As you guys are aspecting yours results through post(in couple of days on 16 Aprl).

and

Gob00st:- i have question for you; as you said that yours work permit is approved for 60 months (congrats), but how come you got the work permit approved if you send yours passport for tier1 PBS. Please could you clarify this for me.

Best of luck all of you who still waiting for their results. Wait for the results, Don't get disharted.

Great you successfully got your status from HO, keeping updating.

I called HO today as well, they managed to tell me that the decision of my application has been made, but they would NOT tell me if it has been approved or not, no matter what reason I gave them, which makes me half feeling being rejected.

Another better news though- my work permit has just been granted today for 60 months, which makes my T1 application not that important anymore.

Anyway wish all the best to all who has been w8 T1 results.

I told the fact that it was more then 28 days and i want to travel. so they advice me to wait for another 5-7 working days. Its not the great news but it is better news for me compare to my last update in this thread.

As soon as i get any info i update to this thread.

thanx for advices guys.

Hi mate:
Just got my approval back.
Regarding you question, work permit is not a kind of VISA,its just a certificate that could be used to extend your VISA(FLR) and that's why it could be issued without passport.

All the best to you!

Thanks mate, I think I will stick to the Tier1 as I mentioned the work permit is not a VISA, if i want to extend my VISA using that, I will have to apply FLR again which would set me up into another w8 cycle with HO and that is one thing I would definitely not willing to do.

Anyway wish all the best to you application, its just a matter of time that you receive it having 3 year approval on it.

Hi,

I need help to clarify some points. Please help me out.
I am in UK on Work Permit and now wants to apply HSMP under Tier-1.

1) I am getting India salary and here in UK allowances but getting salary slips at both places. Please tell me how my previous earning points will be calculated ?

2) Will I have to send all original document with my Pasport at the time of sending application for Tier-1 ? bcoz previously it was send after HSMP approval.

As far as my knowledge n urs concern.

1) No matter in which currency u paid, it should have minimum £19K and or over £40K to claim point 5 to 45 under yours past earnings. As bigger urs salary you can claim much points beside u have to show the proof such as pay slip,UK allowances/ Tax paid P60 etc. etc. for the past twelve to fifteen months.

2) Under new Tier 1 PBS wether u r applying first time or extending urs HSMP, u must have to send urs passport along with all original documents (in sum cases it must be attested or certifide). Yes, you are rite earlier in Old HSMP passport should have to send after urs case is approved. But new PBS is asking for all documents send at once in a time with £750 fees .
For more details on how to calculate your points please visit to the link below

http://www.workpermit.com/uk/immigratio ... t-form.htm

I guess i have clarify urs issues.

Regards,
Irf.

Actually, I am in UK By last 1 year so I'll file application from UK only. and I need points from previous earning.
thats why I asked 1st question.
1 year UK allowances £ 20437
1 year India salary Rs. 3,45,592

Then how I will calculate my earning points?

Keep the UK component as it is.

and convert your Indain earning in to Pounds by referring to the ww.Oanda.com (Take the History table for Last Salary paid date rate).

Add this to UK component.

For example:

Your Gross: 3,45,592
Conversion Rate on 31/03/2008 :0.01256.
Indian Earning in Porund: 4340.
Total Earnings: 24777(20437 +4340)

but then in application form. How I'll fill details.
like

source of earning, ABC employer
Country of earning, United Kinddom
Currency in which earnings were paid, ??
Earnings claimed(in original currency), ??
Earnings in pounds sterling ??

have you faced similar situation??

Use two rows
In one row Fill in UK details and other row Indian Detials
I feel this is apporiate.
For UK
source of earning, ABC employer
Country of earning, United Kinddom
Currency in which earnings were paid, GBP
Earnings claimed(in original currency), 20XXX
Earnings in pounds sterling 20XXXX

For India
source of earning, ABC employer
Country of earning, United Kinddom
Currency in which earnings were paid, INR
Earnings claimed(in original currency), 3 XXXXXX
Earnings in pounds sterling 4XXXX

I have applied for HSMP got an approval, I was also paid like this (Indian Salary + UK ).

Shilpi:

Research carefully on what allowances in UK you can claim as salary. I was bitten by that the last time I applied. I was with an Indian company that paid me 'Salary' in India, and Allowances in the UK. The major part of the UK allowances were shown as 'Daily Living Allowance' in the Pay slip and were not reflected at all in the P60. So, even though I made a decent number in the UK, The P60 showed only 10% of it.

The salary slips were not considered, and my application was treated only with the Indian Salary which failed to make the cut, and my application was rejected. Even the Indian Salary was considered without any multipliers as I earnt it while living in the UK.

I changed companies, waited the year out, and applied fresh on the Tier-1 with proper salary to get the approval.

The approach shown by rahsmp has the right idea, just confirm that your 'allowance' qualifies as salary in the UK.

Ashraya
