Lost BRP...Tier 5 Visa

Hey guys,

I lost my wallet in London, and it has my BRP card in it. Ive reported it lost and have re-applied for a new card.
Only thing is i am travelling in the next month. Can i re-enter the UK with out it? I have my Visa sticker in my passport.
I am a New Zealand national.

Strictly speaking, no. But as you can travel to the UK without visa and stay for up to 6 months, there should not be a problem if you explain to immigration officer your situation and show him the police report.
