inquire for dependent visa

Hello!I have been working on tier 2 general 5-year visa in the UK and now I want to change the company I have been working in for 3 years.I know that I have to renew my visa but does my wife and daughter who are on dependent visa also have to renew their visa.my visa is still valid to 2020.
please advise me.

No they don't have to apply with you if their visa is valid till 2020.

thank you for your advice, I have one more question that if my wife and daughter want to travel outside of UK will there be any problem when they come back.their visa is still valid to 2020

No more than 180 days in ANY 12 month rolling period. That is the absence limit.

There is also a requirement to be employed by your sponsored and be in the UK. If you are no longer working for the sponsor, your visa will be curtailed.

Hi there,

I am an Indian national and currently on Tier 2 (General) visa. I lost my job due to redundancy. My last day at work was 31 MARCH 2018.My employer has notified UKBA regarding my termination of employment contract.

As I haven't received any communication from UKBA as 24 days has gone so I was just wondering whether am I right in assuming that UKBA will contact me on curtailment of current leave?

Or am I supposed to contact/do anything?

Please advise.

It's employer duty to inform HO, which as per your message is done.

I don't think you need to take any further action apart from waiting for curtailment letter and trying to find a new job/sponsor asap.

As long as you haven't changed address you should receive the curtailment letter soon (can take weeks/months sometimes).

Good luck for your job hunt.
My advice is based on personal research/experience, so pls check relevant UKVI sources.

Thank you for your advice I just had one more choir that will my curtailment period starter when my employer inform the HO or when I get the letter from the HO

Inquire Tire 2 general visa

Hi,
I had visited the UK 8 Months ago on Tire 2 General visa and I had stayed for one year and then went back to my country to work for the same employer that issued my visa. Now after having 8 Months gap, I want to come back to U.K on the same visa to work for the same employer would there be any problem.
My visa expiring on date 1st June 2018. can I extend my visa while being in U.K
Please advise.

No problem to extend your visa but you won't qualify for ILR with such a long absence.

I have got an appointment letter from a company on 17th April 2018 but they have run out of the COS quota and they have applied for the COS on the same day. I haven't got the COS till this date how much time would it take for them to renew the COS quota

I have applied to join a company and they have issued an offer letter but they can't allocate my COS as they have informed me that the previous company I have been working for have not cancel my COS
please advise me what should the company I have applied to join have to do to issue my COS?

Hello,
I was redundant last April but my visa still valid till 2020. I have found a new job and the employer has given me the COS and the offer letter and I have applied for my new visa.
my question is can I work on my old visa (still valid 2020) or should I wait for the arrival of my new visa.
