University fees with LTR?

Post by pyke » Sat Apr 26, 2008 11:10 am

Hi,

I'm pretty new to all these and was wondering what kind of university fees a non-EU national with LTR would have to pay if intending to enter Irish universities? Would it be the same as Irish citizens?

Thanks!

It is not possible to qualify for the undergraduate 'free fees' scheme unless you are an Irish or EU national or a recognised refugee. If you have paid tax for the last 3 years and have been resident in the EU for the last 3 years you qualify for the EU fees rate which is significantly reduced but still substantial, ranging from 3000-6000 per year.

DCU has a good online tool to determine eligibility
