Travel document renewal we

Hi guys.lf anyone is in the following situation please help !
I just applied for a travel document (renewal).l applied online and my payment details were taken. Now after this online application,l am required to send a complete application form? This where am getting confused,do l need to fill in another paper application form after sending an online application?
If anyone has an understanding of this process , kindly enlighten me. Thanks
