Next ceremony: ?

Hi all.
Any rumours/insights when is the next ceremony going to happen?

2017 ceremonies:
April
June
October (moved to November because of Ophelia, but originally scheduled for Oct)

2018:
May

Should we expect one ceremony in summer and one in autumn this year as well? Considering a move from Dublin to a bigger venue, will there be more than 3 ceremonies a year?

13,000(2011) 23,000(2012) 29,000 (2013) 18,000(2014) 11,000(2015) 10,000(2016) 8200 (2017)

Since peaking at 25,100 in 2012, the annual number of citizenship applications granted has fallen every year, reaching a low of 8,200 in 2017.

the number of applications received by the department over that span has also fallen continuously from 19,900 in 2012 to just 11,800 last year.
as per info i found online .


They were more ceremonies it seems due to huge backlog . we could be seeing 2 ceremonies per year i think

in 2017 it was 6850

2018 so far 3500

I thing there will be one small ceremony in a different country in summer and one between aug and December large one.

From my understanding all ceremonies from Dublin have moved to Killarney, no?

I mean this year. They moved all ceremonies from Convention Centre, Dublin to Killarney

We can only speculate, I guess all we have to do is wait and see

I was at the ceremony on 21st May there. As far as i am aware the only place that ceremony will take place now is Killarney.
