RCoS point score: extra points for public service occupations

Hello,

As I understand when an RCoS is being considered by the Home Office, the following equation applies:

20 points (labour market check job) + X number of points related to the salary of the job offer.

In May 2018 the minimum point score for successful applications was 51.

I have read in a few different places the following information: “A higher number of points will be awarded to jobs in the following sub-categories:

shortage occupation jobs;

PHD level jobs;

“new graduate” jobs or internships which meet the relevant provisions in the Immigration Rules;

jobs which are defined as key “public service occupations”.”

My question is related to the last point: Would civil service jobs be considered public service occupations (i.e. jobs where candidates meet Civil Service nationality rules, but require sponsorship)? If so, how many points are allocated?
